3. Safety Tips for Exercise
- Always warm up before exercising
- Wear proper clothing and footwear
- Drink water before, during, and after activity
- Rest between sessions and avoid overtraining
- Use equipment safely and know your limits
4. Indigenous and Recreational Games
- Indigenous games reflect South African culture and traditions (e.g. diketo, morabaraba)
- Recreational games are fun, non-competitive, and good for relaxation
- Both promote teamwork, social skills, and fitness
5. PET (Physical Education Task)
- Assesses your physical participation and effort during PE classes
- Includes activities like running, stretching, team games, or circuits
- Track your progress in a fitness log or journal
- Counts towards your final Life Orientation mark
